I'd rather be FISHING

A few helpful hints and tips on life and fishing

Every day is a good day for fishing.  Concentrate on catching one fish at a time. Don't count your fish until on dry land.  Do not depend upon luck.  Keep your equipment clean and in good working order.  Make sure your hooks are sharp.  Tying a knot is one of the most important things required for a successful day's fishing.  Select a rod by how it feels in your hand.  The most important thing to remember when fly fishing, cast the line, not the fly.  Share your knowledge and skills with other anglers.  Be versatile. Experiment: try different lures, colors, shapes, and sizes. Try new fishing spots.  Bait the hook well and the fish will bite.  Without patience, the hasty angler loses the fish. Going fishing without beer makes the day last a year.  Remember the fish that escapes is the biggest fish of all. Be confident! Remember, no matter whether rain or shine, fishing is always fine.
